It's cancer and will teach poor people that the Internet only contains the few blessed services that Internet.org includes. This is bad because openness is what made the Internet great. Anyone can create something, rent a server and put it on there. You can now visit it. These people will not have the same experience, they can only access what mark suckerburg decoded they should be allowed to access.
If I want my service to be accessible I'd have to make additional deals and pay money to suckerburg. This is really bad.
It's not the Internet, and it's an outright lie to call it such. It's pretty much a Facebook intranet, with all the tracking suckerburg can dream of.

I find the idea of Facebook being so widespread, so... Integrated into humanity a little creepy, to be honest.
A lot of people seem to just assume that everyone has Facebook, and then there's the unpleasantness of things like Facebook gathering data on people or employers snooping on the Facebooks of their employees.
I dunno, maybe I'm only seeing it from a channer's viewpoint, but it makes me uneasy.

It is very unlikely for facebook to couple their VR product tightly with facebook, but if they do: None of the facebook haters will be buying it. Fucking duh. Oculus Rift is not the only VR product out there, Steam is also working on something and once the oculus hits mainstream it'll be less than a year for a bunch of competitors to rip them off and to start competing.

Have you ever heard of reverse engineering, open source drivers and linux in general? That's going to happen regardless of where the hardware comes from, but this is probably too complex for you to understand, so I don't really blame you. As for steam being spyware, that is a mighty hefty claim from someone who doesn't seem to even know of the existence of any of the aforementioned subjects. Can you provide any proof for this claim, or are you just making things up now? And no, some hyped up online media article, a reddit post or a blog is not proof. That is just someone claiming things. If you have any proof through decompilation or syscall logs or whatever, I'd like to see it.
