I always imagined it thusly: a yellow skinned jaundiced MAtt comes back to USAmerica for a liver transplant. As he goes under, he sees the face of Drs. Goldstein and Mouton appear. Sadly there are"complications" and Matt never wakes up.

I have always thought: A yellow-skinned jaundiced MAtt comes back to USAmerica for a liver transplant where complications arise, but he is saved only to live as an invalid, under direct care. Syntax and Matt end up in the same Florida nursing home to be attended to by kook. Does kook give syntax a handjob while cutting off Matt's fluids? Does she torment Matt by serving up Syntax's steaming old-man turds to Matt and claiming it's sloppy joes? Does she slowly murder them both while documenting the whole tortuous process at minichan.org where no one thinks reporting this to the authorities is either useful or important? Fanfic and reality may yet collide!

So how does one forgive the dead? Could it be syntax never accepts your olive branch because it doesn't last long? Maybe if you did he mature thing and just stopped insulting him and posting his picture he would feel silly and out of place for his one sided fued. That would be the mature thing.
It seems to me you just want to be rewarded for simply acting like a sensible adult which should really come as standard
