I've been slacking until now. Taking it easy. Being a loser. A basement dweller. A man-child. Barely working to pay bills and playing vidya in spare time.
I've had enough of that shit! It's time to make something of myself! It's time to be a winner, like I could be and should be!
I'm telling you this because it's 5am here and I can't fall asleep or find anyone conscious.
Also it sucks when you can't sleep. I've slept for 3.5 hours in the last 2 days

Don't push your drugs onto people. Dealing out the sleeping pills at the home may be ok to get you through your days but its not ok for everyone.
@OP
go and exercise for half an hour or something so that you feel tired for a change

I'm scared of sleeping pills, a relative committed suicide with them
@previous (E)
I got up and walked around and ate some toast, it occurred to me I've not eaten food for nearly 2 days. Probably why I kepg going lightheaded when I would stand up. Now I shall try again.

What about over the counter melatonin. Oh and that program that changes the color of your computer screen actually works. Becky recommended it and its called f.lux.

The OTC sleeping pills (here, not sure about in the UK) are just an antihistamine like diphenhydramine. (antihistamines generally make you drowsy) You would have to take A LOT to notice any ill effects.

Do what Indy did. Get an education and teaching certification. Move to an Asian paradise where the women love white men, and where the cost of living is dirt cheap, and live like a damn king.

And go and get your fucking license and learn to drive. It's something that will make you feel good about yourself and drag you into the world of grown ups.

You would follow in Matt's footsteps? This makes you just as much as a loser as he is.

So exactly what do you want to do? Wot kind of work interests you. You like playing video games. You could design one (does not mean you have to do all the work yourself)

Well I work long shifts in just a couple days right now so I think with that free time I am going to take a university course so I can secure a well-paying job later in life. I do enjoy computing in general but I'm hampered by a lack of ability in mathematics to do the serious stuff with that. I guess it depends what my options are, I'm away from home at the minute so I don't know what the local colleges are offering.

Give this a try. Look up a basic online course in Basic Logic. See how you do with this.
And I am good with Math and Engineering depends on it but I also make a poor programmer.

Have you thought about doing an apprenticeship or something? Not sure about where you live, but in the South West they're a pretty major route into IT-related roles, mostly because the local government pumps money into them (and various other schemes).
There are Higher Apprenticeships™ in which you work towards a degree/HND/HNC/CertHE/etc. (instead of NVQs or Level 1/2 quals (lol)), and similar things.
