1 plate 1 bowl 1 knife 1 fork 1 spoon per person. Remove other dishes from easy access in the kitchen.

If you need a plate, wash it and use it.

His point is that they get that way because the roommate isn't doing his part. At least, I think that's what he's saying. The wording is somewhat cryptic.

this works in theory, till cookware starts piling up.

I clean what I cook with every 24 hours unless I re-use it within that time.
