Have you watched "Spring Work in a Heather Skep Apiary"? All 8 parts are very interesting.
One of the things I love about bees is how each hive always has a single queen (or in certain circumstances, an acting queen). This means they can be viewed as a single organism.

I don't really pay much attention to insects, but I do like watching ants.
They seem to work together at bringing food back to the home, and have their own little army to ward off other bugs invading their territory.
Plus, the layout of their home is amazing. They actually build rooms for different things. One for eggs and newborns, food storage, sleeping quarters, and a bathroom.
