no worries, m8.
You're more of a functional adult than many on the chans, so driving isn't really a big deal.

I may also be moving to America in the next 5 years so it's probably not worth getting into the habit of RHD

That's a really strange excuse for not driving. Have you ever driven?
The Owl !KThEOwLwbU replied with this 11 years ago , 8 hours later, 21 hours after the original post[^] [v] #552,745 @previous (G)
Well I would have to relearn all over again in USA including the U.S. Highway Code and more difficult unlearn the reflexes from driving in Britain so it's like, why bother beggering myself and gaining those reflexes when I can get unlimited bus and rail for 22 a week
For example if I get into a situation where I have to emergency stop I'm going to use my left hand probably
Which won't be good in a car with the handbrake on the right of me

That is a retarded reason. Go and do a couple of handbrake slides, you'll soon realise that you will never pull the fucking handbrake if you are in a position where you have to stop quickly in a reflex situation.
Learn to drive nancy boy.

Handbrake = emergency brake?
Yeah, I don't see any use at all for it in a possible accident scenario. Just to avoid rolling down hills really.

> Handbrake = emergency brake?
Yes. If you ever find your car slipping out of control, the first thing you should do is yank on that handbrake lever as hard as you possibly can.
Remember: Safety first.
