Brits re Satellites have not put cold hard cash in my wallet since I left working directly for US Gov - bunch of years now and assume such birds are parked in orbit as future Ocean feed.
Most of wot I work on is French- Italian of build. Others are US Built.
Only real cash flow from UK is related to ground based wireless Stuff and 90% of that is for Vodaphone. Vodaphone was once the most significant partner with Qualcomm for the Globalstar system.
I also fully expected Vodaphone to acquire fully Verizon and was Shocked when they changed their mind. I expected to lose work with Verizon (Also a major partner with Qualcom/Globalstar)
The UK Vodaphone change of plans fucked up a bunch of my planned free time and I am still sorting that out. It wood not be in my best interest to express how I feel about the split of Vodaphone from Verizon other then to say both are terrific companies and great to work with.
