Many have been complaining about difficulty accessing Cloudfare sites and other reverse proxies. This can be gotten around by installing the following Firefox plugins to add the required Host headers.
Alternatively, minichan can be access by disabling CSS in your settings and executing the following:
curl http://104.28.18.67/ -H "Host: minichan.org" -o /tmp/tmpfile.html && firefox /tmp/tmpfile.html
But be sure not to click any of the DNS-enabled links on the resulting output directly!
In other news, we are devising a caching strategy for WHOIS lookups which will eventually automate this away, while still avoiding traditional DNS mechanisms. We hope to begin rolling this out in Q2 of 2017.
