IE has cleaned up a lot since IE6, and it's not the malware whore it used to be. I was actually pleasantly surprised the last time I used IE. That said, using IE is still WTF tier browsing.

Isn't it funny how IE started to get good right when Microsoft discontinued it for a new project?

I am awaiting the resurrection of Clippy.

The soul-crushing emptiness of Clippy has now been replaced by every program you ever owned trying to update the moment you start "using" the computer. Then you discover you aren't so much using the computer as just being a witness to it using itself. "Well shit I just started the thing, and every Adobe program I own wants to update. Windows is slowing the the system down obviously downloading updates, so I can't really start anything because I'll just have to reboot 500 times in the next minute or so... That AV program someone said I need to install has halted all system activity until it updates its definitions to make sure the updates to my updates aren't malware... Whatever. I don't give a shit. Let the computer run itself into the ground. I can't use it. Functionality is dead.
