HEB in Houston has Castillo San Simon Tempranillo for $3.33 a bottle every day, and so does Fiesta Mart. I don't see why $4 is so exciting.

Tastes pretty good. It's just a table wine, not like something you keep in the cellar for 20 years or anything, but I can polish off two bottles in a night easy. I like the Spanish wines more than Italian, personally. They seem more bold and spicy to me.

Spanish wines are, in my opinion, the most underrated wines in the world. They have a long history and great sophistication. I agree.
