It's official, 2K has more or less confirmed that the WWE games will be released on the PC.
WWE 2K15 is now available for pre-order and includes all of the DLC.
Now hopefully this means people will be able to mod the game to include custom arenas and superstars.

Now I feel a little upset about spending the money on a PS4. If this game came out on the PC then this is a strong indicator that all future successors will too.

What made me fucking decide on the PS4 was the WWE games since for the longest time they were never available for the PC and I am addict to these games especially now that the gameplay resembles an actual match. Yes, I have a good gaming PC (well, technically, it's my brother's) and a PC that would be alright if it gets updated. My brother's PC is an Alienware x51 which he could for around $1,000 on eBay which is cheap compared to the retail price.
For a while there it seemed as if there wasn't going to be a release of WWE 2K15 or any future titles because all we had to go by was rumors. With this announcement it is safe to assume all future WWE games will be released for the PC after all DLC packs had been released.
What made me fucking decide on the PS4 was the WWE games since for the longest time they were never available for the PC and I am addict to these games especially now that the gameplay resembles an actual match. Yes, I have a good gaming PC (well, technically, it's my brother's) and a PC that would be alright if it gets updated. My brother's PC is an Alienware x51 which he could for around $1,000 on eBay which is cheap compared to the retail price.

oh, just because in my opinion i don't like it. i never liked it even when it was an arcade game, but it was the only game they had at the grocery store and i learned to hate it as much as shopping for food when i was a kid. like i said, i know people like it and it's popular, but i don't get the attraction. I was surprised because i think it's a shitty game that it's no fun and i just figured everyone else was sick of it too and that's why there weren't any new ones.
but then, here's a new one and i'm all like, "oh, shit, people still want to play that game that's just awful in my opinion? alright... that's surprising. but okay." i still think it's shit and boring, but i also think smashbrothers is pretty much shit and is boring. i'd never buy it just to sit around and play it.
but if i'm at someone's house and they want to throw sticks, i'm down, i'm motherfucking zero-suit samus bitches. but i'd never just like sit around and play it. not like by myself. Same with Mortal Kombat, i haven't played it yet, but if i ever DO it'll be because someone else is playing it and they want me to join it. if that's the case, i'm mother fucking Chun-li and there ain't shit no one can do to stop me from brutalitying your ass.

I never played Mortal Kombat or Super Smash Bros. either. But I never really felt surprised that they keep making them. It's like being surprised there is a Halo 5, but that analogy is a little unfair as it is surprising they made another one after announcing that 3 or 4 was the last one.

Oh, yeah, you know, it doesn't matter, they're they same fucking game. they're both shit, and you can probably tell by my confusion that i never really cared enough to try and distinguish the two to begin with. it's a shit little arcade game that stopped being fun after about .75 cents and you can reskin the sprites or render it all in 3D but it's all the same basic glitchy looking bullshit with bad transitional animations and wholly unrealistic physics when realistic physics is much more interesting to watch ragdoll and even leads to more diverse gameplay.
your WWE wrestling game thing is probably much fucking better looking AND more interesting to watch than preanimated fall patterns and non-dynamic attacks. game mechanics have evolved beyond the shit cabinet game makers tossed out in 1990.
so yes, i'm shocked that there is still demand for that kind of game to be anything more than an iPad app.
i figured Smash Brothers had a lock on that kind of game because they improved on the mechanics and made it a more polished experience through and through.
the new mortal kombat game looks like shit, it looks like they animated their fancy models with rigs based on the original game sprites, which might totally be true! imagine what Zelda would look like if all games were just the original game with better graphics, that's what the new MK game looks like to me. awkwardly anachronistic would be maybe a way of imagining how it looks to me. Like, the gameplay and the graphics just clash with each other. either lower the textures or modernize the gameplay to match the more realistic models.
i dunno, i just find it all surprising. but, that's just me. to me it looks like a big mess.

pretty impressive animations there. looks like there's a lot more depth to it than mortal combat. i just looked at twitch too and watched a few minutes of mortal kombat and i can see the button spamming. also it's like 2 moves being spammed back and forth for 2 minutes, just sucks.
at least WWE had some pile drivers and it looked like you have a lot more moves too. i was like, "what's that bitch doing, OH straddling the other bitches face to do some backbreaking backflip move. neat."
