Screw the tip... They gave me medicine in the chopper which put me to sleep and paralized me for the next 12 to 14 hours. I didn't get to enjoy the flight!
I woke up at one point, and could not move because of the paralyzing medication, couldn't move a finger. That flipped me the fuck out.
About 9 the next morning, the meds wore off, and that's when I flipped out. They had a tube shoved in my mouth and down my throat, and up my nose down into my throat. I had phlegm build up in my throat and couldn't breath.
I couldn't yank the tubes out because the fuckers had strapped my wrists to the sides of the bed.
I just can't figure out what the "rotor base" on that bill stands for. Any idea?

My best guess is that its the basic cost for the service - Copter - Crew - Equipment on board - Paramedics on board - Account to build up to buy the next one cause often in the news those things keep crashing and replacement costs are super expensive.

I once had to organize a helicopter flight in Germany. I remember it was 400ish Euros for start/landing permissions and 1000 Euros per flight hour.
Considering the helicopter can reach up to 200 km/h (120 mph) when it comes to distance your flight should be 500 Euros, not $22k.
Sure, you need to take in account medical staff etc... but $50k hahaha
I would probably need to be rushed to the hospital again after seeing that bill... holy shit...
