36 (for americunts 11:36 PM) atm here, and I'll just chill at home...
Running some errands in the city this morning, a dude backs up his car on the parking lot while I'm driving by and destroys the left mirror on my car and puts a dent in the door.
No time for insurance shit, since the stuff I had to take care off involved more money than a shitty mirror on my Fiat Brava, and the dude is like "I have a friend who knows someone who can fix this, I pay...bla bla"
Take his number, and well, if a mirror and dented door is the price I need to pay to confirm a person is a shithead, I'm willing to do so... take care of the rest of the stuff, call him around 3 PM...
Meet and greet at the workshop he told me about, mirror fixed instantly (they ordered a new one while I was in the city...) took the door off, hammered out the dent, polished up and repainted, drunk a beer with them while the paint was being baked in the booth...
10:50ish, my car looks like new, barbecue with the guys and girls I met at that workshop tomorrow...
What a surprise, and I was so sure the dude would rip me off since we went the unofficial way... gives me back some faith in humanity haha :D
