You have never eaten at Denny's?

Memories - anyone who has doxed me knows I grew up in Lakewood Ca. Denny's started out as a more then ok Donut shop in Lakewood Ca.
Currently many feel Denny's is the Pitts when it cums to breakfast. Bacon is on the bottom rung as 97% fat with a hint of rind if you smell it.

Anyway Congrats.

Over the many years I have had breakfast at Denny's. Don't think I have ever eaten other then breakfast other then as I said those Danny Donuts of Denny origin

Yea I said I wood go to Walmart and I will one day. After a bad experience of fixing some electronics as a favor for a friend and the discovery that shit imported by Walmart only had the name brand stamped on the product n insides was total garbage - I don't think I could buy anything from them.

since when did it become "hip" for corporations to be posers? it used to be that when some company tried to be "hip" it just looked like pandering and usually came across as super, duper lame. "it cares," because it's, "aware?" When did it start being "caring" and stop being "marketing driven pandering?" a tweet from a company isn't a thought, it's a fucking commercial!

that's what i don't get about you millennials, corporations don't fucking stand for anything except their bottom line. thinking that their position on "social justice" or anything like that is relevant to the fucking pancakes they sell is to internalize their marketing! and to then retweet it is to not only internalize it but to become a part of it's marketing machinery!

i'll tell you what, if the fucking gen-xers weren't all busy WORKING and 20 years younger THEY WOULDN'T STAND FOR THIS SHIT and any corporation that tweeted their views on social fucking justice would get a FUCKING DOC MARTIN UP THEIR ASS!@

Or drunk people at 3 in the morning, which is just another good reason to hate it. I waited almost an hour for my food once because it was so busy at 3 in the god damn morning, and definitely not worth the wait. The food sucks.

Millions of people live in my county and I cannot think of a single place to sit down and eat at 3AM - Other then Denny's - Been a few years since I last ate at one and it was past 2AM after a night out of dancing the nite away. Do not remember slow service but sure remember sausage so loaded with fat I wondered if there was really any meat in it. I made my point b4 re bacon might be 100% fat.
However the pancakes were good and at 2 or 3AM I doubt I cared much if the syrup was not maple

Cardiff by the Sea San Diego. Not even a Mc D's but its infamous I am about 15 minutes from downtown SD.
So of course there are 24 hour places yet none came to mind other then Denny's so I did this
http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=24+Hour+Food&find_loc=San+Diego%2C+CA

Taco joints and a couple of places for sit down breakfast at 2 AM - PAGE 2 & 3 99% Mexican joints AND Not one of those are right off a freeway that provides a place on the way home from anywhere

Betting that Long Beach where you were recently has even less available at the late hours.

> Betting that Long Beach where you were recently has even less available at the late hours.

What? If you are wandering around Long Beach drunk at 3am (I've actually done this quite a bit when a good friend of mine lived in Long Beach and we would all get trashed while playing video games over there.) and can't find a place to sit down and get something, you have to be blind. Harbor House is probably the go-to restaurant (and Shore House down in Seal Beach is probably a second-best), but there are donut shops, coffee shops, numerous Denny's locations, and taquerías that stay are open late or 24 hours.

Besides, Long Beach is only 15 minutes away at that hour. (The 5 and the 405 and the 22 are a fucking breeze that time of night) You have no excuse.

Also, if you ever happen to be in Dana Point... Aurora's Taquería on PCH and El Encanto. I have no idea if they are still open late, but you should try it if you are there. I used to make the drive from Irvine to Dana Point just to pick up some burritos when I had a craving.

LOL Shore house? Not in business anymore. Sure Harbor house but really now have you been to that joint? Betting anyone can locate a place open for 24 nor am I trying to defend Denny's cause bacon and sausage are 99.999% fat for the most part

@547,972 (Broseph !!fxnDb+Ve4)
Did I ever say I was from there? Next door and North of there. However up on Signal Hill one hell of a lot of wot we called on look out for submarines of enemy

@previous (K)
Dana point is a terrific place to surf. Great coastal hamlet - and yes around here lots n lots n lots n more lots of Mexican places open 24 but frankly at 3 AM Mexican is my last choice of eats.

And damn Broseph I do hope you had one hell of a good time in Naples. Yes I forgot in theory its an Island - but will never forget loss of Virginity there

Down in OC lately. Sad about Shore House in Seal Beach. That place was fun. Still a lot of good options in Long Beach proper.

> Sure Harbor house but really now have you been to that joint?
Umm... Me and friends - and every other drunken group of people prowling around Long Beach or Dana Point (where there is also a Harbor House). How many times? Hundreds of times? Fuck, the last time I went we were waited on by some girl I went to high school with. That was... interesting.

Drunk burritos are best burritos.

I shouldn't have been so hard on Harbor House except its really designed for the tourista trade. If one loves gummy flour then they wood love the Clam Chowder.
However yes peel and eat shrimp or basic sea food is really ok. One North of me and one South of me and its never on my mind given alternatives.

Dana point has terrific super terrific Surfing. When I lived up Long Beach way it was Laguna Beach where I mostly hung out. Most of the gals I dated lived in Fullerton cause a super GF moved there and I ended up spending lots of time in OC as result - She after all these years is still a close friend.

@548,059 (Triptych !!/xkPL9myM)
Geeeesh Trip I had no clue you once lived in SD. London - Canada - SD? If you look at a map I am as the crow flies, exactly directly east of me by 15 miles (not kidding) Logistics re almost a mountain to cross make it a much longer but really nice trip, cept other then one friend who lives there I never have a reason to go there - Its totally a bedroom community for families - AND ONE Fantastic Restaurant

@previous (The Owl !KThEOwLwbU)
Don't think I have tried that seafood salad. However seafood salads are one of my most fav items and something I make at home a bunch. I suspect I am hard on restaurant sea food salads cause my version in such wood probably cost around $75 to order

Yea Dana point is all about layed back - Its similar to my hamlet. Near major populations centers Yet totally hidden and off the beaten path. One of the best parts is having the Coast Hwy to avoid Hwy 5 and I have exactly that except my Coast Hwy fizzles out and I have no choice other then Hwy 5
