I haven't really give much thought to it. Pulling a half-assed spree like Elliot Rodgers and kill a dozen of people is simple enough, but when it comes to having a noteworthy kill count, the logistics get a lot more complicated.
The method with the highest body counts seems to be suicide bombing, but that's too muslim, and too common, it happens just about every week on Pakistan. Plus, they usually have bigger budgets than domestic terrorists, which means more efficient bombs. Just look at the Boston bomb brothers. They created a lot of chaos, but in the end, they only killed 2 people, because their bomb was some shitty homemade stuff. I wouldn't want to join ISIS just to pull a columbine.
Same with guns. No matter the situation, the logistics are really complicated. Tough shit man.

well, you can't really compare killing spree shooters to organized terrorism. the boston bombers are in the "spree shooter" category because they had zero support and built bombs that were barely more than a couple of hand grenades.
afaik brevik holds the high score for small fry spree killing
or lone wolf spree killing
unless we also count tim mcveigh's 168 killed and 600 injured, but, that was a bombing and i'm not sure you call bombers spree killers anyway, i think they probably have different psychological profiles in common as well. like, spree shooters fit one profile and bombers fit another.

A Breivik count is a good number to aim for. School shooters can't get those numbers. He really had the perfect chance for the shooting, it's not always you have an island full of faggoty norwegian teenagers.
