Topic: is rape worse than murder?

I am inclined to think so. Murder is simply expediting the inevitable, everyone dies. Sure, it's morally objectionable to cut someone's life short, and who you are killing matters a lot. Killing a child is more heinous for example because their odds of dying otherwise are far slimmer than others, and you would be cutting off more potential time. But rape isn't something that everyone has to experience, rape isn't inevitable. So, in that way it's worse. However one can recover from rape, murder not so much. But on the other hand, if you're dead you really don't care. But then again your loved ones might, and that can be very damaging for them. What say you?

Many women say they wish they were killed. In some countries a women is considered a slut after she is raped. Even forced to marry the rapist.
Family's disown the daughter who has been raped.

Sure, a lot of people don't recover, but it is still a possibility.

It depends, I suppose.

A person murdered will never again experience anything. A person raped might have to live with an awful trauma and never recover from it, but they might also go on to have positive experiences and eventually recover from being raped.

But, if you're talking about the morality of it, I suppose that murder would be the greater transgression on someone, since you're taking away all that they are and could be.

Yes, having a dick put inside you when you don't really want a dick inside you is far worse than being killed.

Will Munny: Funny thing, killin' a man. You take away everything he's got and everything he's gonna have.

And your thoughts on abortion?

Not everyone does. Example: https://witchwind.wordpress.com/2013/12/15/piv-is-always-rape-ok/
