There is a country, in which the police force use military-grade vehicles, ballistic armor, and military assault weapons on the citizens. Week after week, stories come out about policemen beating, attacking, shooting, and outright murdering civilians who are innocent, unarmed, or already-complying with the arrest. There are literally almost 1,000 cases per year of police killing people, more than any other developed nation on earth. The police also point sniper rifles at reporters, destroy their equipment, and assault people (and destroy their property) who film them, even though the highest court in the land has ruled it perfectly legal to film police at work. Many of these films have proved that police planted false evidence. Knowing absolutely nothing about this nation, how would most Americans categorize it? A third world nation? A police state? If this country were in Africa, the Middle East, or South America, I can promise you that it would be "a third world sh*thole police state". Prove me wrong.

Yea and b4 the Berlin wall fell many from East Germany died trying for a better place to live.
That said - All of South American Central and Mexico are filling up USA as destination end point - This will probably stop soon with no water to grow the veggies they pick when they get here.
