heres why: its usually the fastest out of all 3 and if you are lucky enough to get a froakie that has the "protean" ability it pretty much wipes the floor with everything, get a move pool that is water - ice - grass (u-turn is grass type) protean automatically changes the greninja's type based on what type of move you use, so u-turn would turn greninja into grass type for the duration of that move this will also come in handy during the elite 4/5 battle, i would say out of all the games they are the most difficult in x/y, even moreso because fairy type
