@Metæ

What kind of games are you looking for? (FPS, strategy, platform, board games, etc.) Also, single player or multiplayer?

There was a thread by squeegee about this, my suggestions are Hitman Go, a turn based puzzle/boardgame and super hexagon by the guy that made VVVVVV

I mostly play Words with Friends, Daily Crosswords, and online chess... My friends and I have currently been playing the shit out of deck-building games like Ascension and Star Realms. For a single-player experience I really enjoyed Out There for it's random hopelessnes and The Room (and its sequel) for puzzle/escape-the-room type fun. Neuroshima Hex is fun for online or pass-and-play if you have some friends who are into hex-based strategy gaming. There are Android versions of Catan and Carassonne that are great. Knizia's Through the Desert and Tigris and Euphrates are good if you want strategic board games. Small World as well as Ticket to Ride are great board-game-to-app offerings from Days of Wonder. Plague Inc. is cute if you got sick of Madagascar closing their ports in the infamous flash game. I'm more of a turn-based strategy kind of person, so I can't speak to the scrolling shooters or FPS games... I've heard Frozen Synapse and X-com (it's like X-Com II: Terror from the Deep (yeah that game from the 90s)) are supposed to be crazy fun, but I haven't gone there.

Android runs on more than phones.

I like FPS and racing games usually.
@543,701 (C)
I never do multiplayer games, which sucks cause everything is multiplayer now.

Update: I've bought Tomb Raider 1 for $0.99. Surprisingly reasonable, considering I bought the same game for $14.99 18 years ago, but I could never get the sound to work right on my Packard Bell™ computer. I really wish they'd put out Tomb Raider II and the The Last Revelation, because those are my favorite ones.

Any suggestions for non-freemium racing games? I don't mind paying a few bucks for a full game but I don't want to be nickel and dimed to death buying gems or coins or whatever to continue playing.

@previous (Meta)
I pretty much play turn-based strategy games, board games, and word games, so I don't have a lot of suggestions for FPS or racing games. I've enjoyed the hell out of puzzle games like The Room series and story-based games like Out There or The Wolf Among Us. I've heard Frozen Synapse and X-Com are good shooter/combat type games on Android. GTA: San Andreas is out on Android as well as some old favorites like Bioshock and some Deus ex, Call of Duty, Dead Trigger, and Max Payne games, but I can't really speak to the quality of any of these as I don't play them or know anyone who does.
