I'm currently watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I had seen still ads for the show, and disregarded them. Then I found out that its a comedy show about life for a young woman after escaping a bunker based cult. Check it out. It has some very dark moments.

lillehammer is pretty good. it's as dark as it is goofy at times, but as it goes along it seems to get grittier.
if you don't know it's about a Mob boss guy that is put into witness protection in switzerland. people don't know who he is and as he forms a circle of friends, partners and associates and he ends up influencing them and putting them in morally difficult situations. it's funny.
