Topic: What exactly does a "two drink minimum" entail, fora?

I'm going to a comedy show next week, and yesterday I went by the club to buy my ticket. As the girl handed me my ticket, she said to me "please remember that we have a two drink minimum," a as I walked out I also noticed that they have the same posted on their future dates board.

I've heard the term in a few movies, and always interpreted it to mean two alcoholic drinks, but I've never actually been into a place that has this requirement. The problem is, I don't want to drink any alcohol that night, as I don't want to be inhibited at all for the show, since I want to enjoy it to its fullest value.

So what happens if I don't buy any alcohol? Should I expect the waiter to hassle me? Will they try to throw me out if I refuse? If I just buy soda, will that count as a drink?
