wow, so, like... whole new industry here. porn is about to be a lot less free. you need porn recorded with special cameras and also it runs on software. amateurs won't be making VR porn, and it might not be easy (at first) to get it without paying.
it IS pretty god damned cool though.
of course what's out there is mostly POV blowjob movies, but they are in 3D and you can look around which was awesome! when you make "eye contact" it was really... immersive.

sure. i mostly watched short demos and they didn't have "proper head tracking" but they did track rotational (turn head left and right up and down) so you could look the chick up and down and look around the room. What they did was probably just sit a guy down on a couch and had him lean back so they could mount a stereoscopic camera mount where his head would naturally sit. Then they just recorded a scene where he sits there and the girl did all the work. It's traditional porn, strip teases and blowjobs, then fucking, then a facial. nothing groundbreaking in the content, but the delivery was pretty well done.
The girls were obviously told to look at the camera, a lot, and in traditional POV fashion the girl said a lot of rhetorical lines and the guy, "you", just sit back and enjoy the show. it was really pretty immersive, the 3d effect is really pretty good and they got the scale perfect, the girls didn't look small or giant, the just looked awesome and 3d and touchable. kinda digitized though, the whole resolution thing is the immersion killer. (tech hurdle though, they'll get past the "screen door effect".)
overall it was pretty cool, i will definitely be looking forward advancements to porn in the coming years.
unfortunately i wasn't able to find any lesbian POV VR demos for free, but i gather that i can pay for them. i'm not sure if i can handle having my mind blown like that though.

okay, so i looked, they are mp4s but you i think are running them on some odd player or something. i launched them from a website, but also there's other videos that do the same thing, but you're canoeing down a river or, like, on a para-glider or something and those all have like odd players you have to use or whatever.

I suppose they must have dual video streams and the special player allows both streams to be read and sent to the appropriate screen/lens whatever simultaneously.
