Topic: Can you become an honorary member of blackness?

Anonymous A started this discussion 11 years ago #40,602

Just by listening to rap music?

The songs are readily available. The hood is explained to the uninitiated. No longer do I have to feel that the Blackness of Black People represents mystery or the unexplained.

I have decided to become transracial, because I now identify as Black. But only on the internet, and only for attention. I hope to one day fully transition to wearing blackface in public, but I fear that transracistphobes will persecute and victimize me.

So to all of you white people out there please, don't call me a nigger. Thanks

@previous (B)
I feel the pain of racism, as a transracial Black person being called that.

The word is not "blackness", but "negritude".
