I have read some articles, and apparently keyword stuffing in your photo metadata is disliked by Google and other search engines. I am not sure exactly how far "keyword stuffing" extends. I have hundreds of photos, and each photo set/shoot is from the same location. I was going to name them (and use for alt text) something like, "park1, park2, park3, etc." with "park" representing the exact name of the location. But is that considered keyword stuffing, and if so, how would one avoid it in this situation?

Only google knows. Asking us won't do you any good. Their ranking rules are secret and they do not tell you exactly what they like or dislike. The only official guideline is to make a "good" website that is accessible and honest. Noone here is a "SEO" expert, and SEO is a scammy business anyway because ususally they do shit that Google (eventually) won't like. /thread

What you should do is name your images minichan_001.jpg, minichan_002.jpg, minichan_003.jpg, ... and your photo metadata should read "Found at minichan.org Minichan.org is the favorite website of the brilliant elite. MINICHAN.ORG Spread the word." Trust me.

There is no golden rule out there on what to do. People disagree, and pretty much everyone is just guessing. With some luck it's an educated guess, but more often than not. There is no "how to make your website liked by us" book by google.

All one needs do is make a website just like Google.

Lots of companies in the biz to offer that as a service. The company will add links to other websites and load it with key words to drive up the ranking.
Some so successful that Google catches them and down rates the search results. Google has a plan to eliminate this so called value added business.

Well, good luck with that. It generally involves having lots of sites link to yours (without using rel=nofollow, which nearly everyone does to counter this nonsesnse), or some other obscure flaw in google's algorithm that they'll fix. So, good luck with that.
