It's weird, NXT manages to capture your attention and the overall quality of matches seems far greater than WWE's main programming. NXT's "pay-per-view" events are a thrill ride compared to WWE's most recent pay-per-views. Even the women's wrestling in NXT is far superior to WWE's. Probably because they give their female talent equal focus to spotlight their skills and not just their looks.

This alone has to be an embarrassment to WWE as their own developmental promotion that is suppose to be getting their guys and girls ready to be called up to their main roster is surpassing them in something.

Many of the female talent dread being called up because they know they will be forgotten on the main roster or end up becoming a highlight on Total Divas, which in all fairness is still more interesting than WWE's main programming currently. Many of the guys also dislike how they aren't allowed to do the more "independent" style of matches too.

It's just weird and I feel embarrassed for WWE.
