I grew up in Long Beach area - So you mean Catalina Island - Great diving but not much to do on the Island itself - Hiking is good - Hope the current HEAT Wave goes away cause that can make your trip a stay in water trip which is still a great way to go

Most I work on do not have cameras - Anyway have a good trip. Its currently Hot as hell and I am 100 Miles South of Long Beach in San Diego County -
No clue about anything man made that one can stay on other then oil contraptions and I only get to Long Beach each June for a Cajun/Blues Fest which is right next to the Queen Mary at the shore in Long Beach - So I will keep my eyes open for any new developments - Could drive up to top of Signal Hill and view ocean from up on top

It's a beautiful little island connected to land by several bridges you drive across. I knew people that used to rent down there, and it wasn't until several trips that I realized I was on an actual island. It's been a few years but just from memory, it was filled with little McMansions, and there's a nice boardwalk next to the riverbed, and old rich people sitting on their decks near the water.
Just google Naples canal long beach ca.

Naples damn. I never think of it as an Island but its man made and its surround by water and is really a cool area to be in.
Its the 2nd place I lost my virginity in so I used to no it real well. Been decades since I have been to Naples. Yes tiny Mansions wood describe the place. I am currently looking to buy another house/condo to lease out so a quick lookC at Naples and much is 4sale

Its the way I look at it.
1st time is infamous n need not be repeated here
2nd time is loaded with terrific memories in Naples and is in a way related to the 1st time by introduction
I probably have posted about Laguna beach and loss as well - For sure if one is going to lose it - Naples and Laguna beach are great places for such.

Wot remains odd about that area - Naples is truly unique for the area. If you have never been there b4? Its a class act place to hang out -
What exists next door is is - Its hard to put in2 words. Adjacent is not terrible but its so very very different quality wise. I just reviewed a map Oh and if you end up taking a drive on the 405 past Seal Beach next door - Keep eyes on the Coast side of 405. Ask self wot are those odd looking things near the road. They are bunkers and I have NO inside info - Word on street is its were one hell of a lot of H Bombs are stored - For sure at least a lot of bombs of some sort - Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach officially says they are loaded with Ammo but do not define exactly wot type
