So wait, the invisible guy in the sky and the superhuman living at the earth's core are real, but the fossils of these gigantic creatures that resemble over-sized lizards are fake? Next you're gonna tell me unicorn shit is actually shit and not rainbows. Fucking troll.

i was literally taught in bible school that fossils are just rocks that look like things and scientists carved them further to look more like bones. And then we'd play a game where we'd look at random ink-blot type things and we'd all see different pictures but when one kid would yell butterfly everyone would agree. Then they showed us inkblots that looked a lot like dinosaur bones and everyone called out "stegosaurus" or whatever. The lesson was that we can all see what we want to, even if it's not there. And that scientists find bones because they want to find them, but if they were Christians digging they would find them just be be rocks because Christians can see through the lies of satan.
suffice to say my baptist "sunday school" was taught by volunteers and the kinds of questions i asked my parents about this kind of stuff eventually got me put into Catholic school where i received a more formal religious education by an actual priest. catholics on the other hand were all about the evolution of some dinosaurs. of course i went through CCD during the John Paul years and after vatican 2 so they were pretty open to sciencey ideas.
i like the catholics. i still don't believe in god, but, they're much better than the protestants

That is such a funny read. Yikes I am betting few here had any idea that kids are being taught Proofs Fossils are random rocks or even carved to resemble bones.
Then again in a public school as a 4th grader when we were discussing the Ocean - I asked about pollution and the teacher said it was so large it wood be impossible to pollute such a large body of water.

Yet, strangely, when Jesus appears on some burnt toast or in a bag of Cheetos™ all of a sudden "faithful" Baptists are selling holy relics on eBay...

You couldn't have known at the time but the trick is to yell "VAGINA!" to every one.

I could probably arrange that experiment, but the bones still exist regardless of them being an illusion.
@537,335 (Green)
But what are the bones of then? A demon?

Rocks carved by scientists possessed by demons.
