No, I don't think stun-guns are generally allowed. They have fists of fury and handcuffs though.

From what I've read, the chavs are on average not too taxing to actually arrest, it's the shitty magistrate punishments and the chav's inability to learn that keeps the cycle going.

Usually for being drunk and disorderly, or petty crime. From what I've read, lots of magistrates constantly pass down minor punishments like a small fine or community service (which will usually never be completed).

As for overly-dramatic shooting scenes, they don't happen. :(

What about Canada? I'm assuming that your police are actually allowed weapons? Any shoot-outs?
