When I do my beach runs in the evening, without exception I see a guy moving super fast on the Ocean always going South to North and we Surfers and runners have a theory. He must work down in Del Mar or below and is going home in perhaps Oceanside. See Doos are only occasionally seen out where I live on the open ocean. Lots of lagoons they use and even have races just about 10 mins north of me.Going to have to ask the life guards if they can shed some light on why we see that one guy every night about the same time of evening.

Just looked up that model. Its the low end entry one - $5000 and is limited to 40MPH with an option for 50MPH
From Cardiff by the Sea to the first Marina to tie the thing up and come on in2 port - For sure its a lot more then 10. Given I have no clue where he started from OTHER then Mission bay south of me wood be the first Southern point for departure from land (legally)
But hey if they are going from work to home then its a real cheep way to do it without any traffic lights and other then watching out for Whales - It wood be a straight line non stop no free way problem solution - He is far enough out so as to not bother Surfers
