Reason Y I have avoided that place is all about a few years ago back in VCR era - Neighbors daughter asked me to see If I could fix her VCR purchased at Walmart and broke just days after factory warranty and her dad keeps her on tight budget - I open it up - Name brand on outside but insides are garbage not fitting the outside name brand - Made a phone call to company as they have a major operation in Cell biz locally and I am told its common practice for companies to allow their brand to be sold for name only so other companies can make the most dirt cheep JUNK possible that Walmart will buy..
tl;dr
Walmart has a reputation that really really REALLY Puts me off so I avoid it - BUT I will one day go inside and walk around - Cannot imagine buying something
Also most cities around here have a No Big Box store policy- So Walmart creates much buzz in news here when they try and open up a new location MOSTLY to be kicked OUT

Almost 11PM for you. Does your mommy no u are up this late?
Tacos in my face YES YES YES - Alas its a group of friends and the group has grown so large the local taco shops now grown when they see us coming cause they are ill equipped for such.
We are now talking about getting a Uber driver to do a pick up run so we can sit out on a Bluff and view Sunsets instead of being stuck going to 3 different places to get all we need for Taco Tuesdays

I think you're mistaking me for someone else. You're starting to sound a bit paranoid.

Kinda like a game me thinks - People around here still play Paint Ball n X box is popular
Also I have to play nice with clients yet want to wring their necks often so use of flame with response lets me do that metaphorically
> I think you're mistaking me for someone else. You're starting to sound a bit paranoid.
Have no clue who u b so it wood be impossible for me to mistrake you for anyone - Paranoid? YES YES as a client who I have much respect4 is trying to talk me out of Taco Tuesday in order to do a dress up sit down dinner with them and frankly as much as I like them and could even bill for time and have dinner on them - Need to politely say - Lets do lunch 2morrow

When was this? I mean back in the 80s-mid 90s when you could get a solid Japanese Panasonic, Sony, or JVC built like a brick shithouse this story would be shocking but post 1996 DVD was coming in so everyone cheapened their VCRs because they would be obsolete in a couple years anyway.

Syntax personally contacted the original electrical engineers of the VCR's main circuit board to review their design specifications.

Was this around the time he was advising Ray Dolby on sound recording policy?

Sometime around 2000. DVD's were out but still expensive and she was recording on VHS 8 hour tapes for a school science project and DVD re 8 hour need just was not a fit. After my shock of the horrid quality - flimsy metal when there is a mechanical reason to have GUTS in Recording devices. Many here have probably experienced wot happens when you cranked up speakers and DVD's wood skip from acoustic vibrations from speakers or even people walking on a hard wood floor.
So your question led me to hit the web with this question
Camera The customer service agent apologized and said I must have gotten one of the “WALMART” cameras. These units were manufactured just for them with the same model number but with reduced features. So while the price was a little lower at walmart, the value was worse since it was a stripped down version.
Printer that model, when sold at SAMS, was a stripped down version without the features she wanted.
Another friend wanted a computer. Being a very tech-savvy consumer, he heavily researched all the different model numbers on the brand he wanted so he could compare prices across the different Chainstores. WalMart and Sams were similar BUT slightly unique numbers, which his research led him to believe had inferior internal components, stripped down software and were loaded with WALMART spyware.
The report contends, for example, that “our low prices actually suggest low quality” for products like high-definition televisions.
China this one is state-owned Chinese TV station which has run a string of stories criticising foreign firms has accused U.S. retailer Wal-Mart of circumventing its quality control process
Walmart agreed there were issues ""In the past year we have stopped selling hundreds of items that we believe fall short of the quality expectation our customers deserve," the company added.
Damn you no I love to write about bait and switch re meat in China and on this same page is
Earlier this year, the U.S. group apologised after a Chinese supplier of donkey meat snacks was found to have mixed fox meat into the product.
Geeeeeshhhhhhh people whine about getting Fox mixed in with Donkey meat - LOLOLOL
