@OP
Torrents clients are in browser apps now, and save themselves like in a file locker. You can then stream or download or share the torrent later if you want.
I've had limited success with hive, it asks for magnet links

Are people still using Windows??

Virtually every major corporation in the world do. Enterprise edition of.

Apple of course is one of the few that does not.

Sounds shit, sorry. I'd much prefer an executable.

@530,430 (C)
Yes, pretty much everyone still is, sadly. My work primarily uses windows, and I am currently in need of downloading linux isos for a vm.

Currently I have 3 Sun Work stations running Unix and two others turned off at the moment

But those are on dedicated T1 and ISDN lines so everything else I do is via PC and in one client accepts Apple or PC but just one.

Well, my ip address wasn't the one that downloaded the torrent and I don't have the file on my computer, so there's that. It's low quality and ad supported, but I think it's probably the future

Off-topic.

I'd rather not centralize my P2P protocol. That is just a recipe for disaster.

Older versions of uTorrent. I use 2.2.1. All other clients are shite.

I use transmission. Qbittorrent is also good but it's really ugly.

This. If the exe is less than 1MB, it's probably a decent version of uTorrent.

uTorrent 1.8.5 or uTorrent 2.2.1

Coincidentally, 1.8.5 is what I use.
