I have never understood why these are such a popular pub snack, but I frequently buy them when available.

Much better than crisps.

The large jar of pickled eggs is a bar room staple, predating all other known foodstuffs offered. Indeed, the practice likely predates the arrival of man himself to the island of Great Britain.

Voted They're gross.

My tolerance for vinegar must be at issue. I do use vinegars in cooking and for a Superbowl party my pot luck contribution will be a potato salad which of course has vinegar
Eggs all sour for me is Yuck
Same for that German dish Sourrotting - Beef in Vinegar just not for me
Big fan of Kimchi which is wayyyy overloaded with Vinegar

Its going to b basic Potatoes (Red) celery - Onions - with Raseberry Vinegar a class act Mustard - not chosen yet - Mayo + Olive oil and Dill and any salt will be some fancy salt I got as a gift and need to use up b4 it adsorbs salt water in air.

Have 3 parties to go to and all are within 15 minutes or so and Potatoes and bowls are in frig chilling and when work is done at 4 or so I will make the dressing and yes I should have made it this AM but work needs to put cold hard cash in wallet first as early Game which is not really my thing watching a game on TV but hey lots of friends so its lots of mostly pot luck food and one super serious B-Ba-Q Brazilian style which means a slew of meats n sausages

Please post Martha Stewarts potato salad recipe, the Wikipedia article on Potatoes, and a doctoral dissertation on the emulsification of oil in mayonnaise to back up your claims. THanks.

Do you prefer Martha's June 2005 or September 2009 recipe?

Yea at least here in USA this stuff is very popular and featured on menus at Restaurants and I got wayyyy to many as Christmas gifts and they do not keep long in jar without clumping

It all tastes the same. A fitting metaphor for people of other races too. No matter what our colour is; we are all the same. We are all human. That's very deep, Syntax.

Do you have a magic car that can travel to any point on Earth or in low Earth orbit in under 15 minutes, or are you just a wizard?

Its now a big business. Imagine Salt so totally dirt cheep. For free if I just take a bucket from my Ocean and put on flat pans and let water evaporate as is done all over world -

So imagine as a business as they are doing selling the stuff for $35/ounce or more - Will say this - As contaminated with other minerals it does taste Different is it really worth all that money?

If one were smart enough to find people to sell it2 Then its LOLOLOL

So far not one I have tried is worth anything as a substitute for my mix of Kosher - regular fine salt and one of a larger grain type for Margaritas as rim salt and those are all dirt cheep.

Where did I say that?

For sure the salts do not all taste the same- and for sure texture can be super important - One reason why I make a blend of regular salts but those cannot be put in a salt shaker!
