Planets are giant spheres on the map until you fly close which takes you to a new map loaded for the world.

That sounds a bit unealistic and therefore immersion breaking. You should try and get Syntax onboard as scientific consultant.

it has no dynamic NPC economy nor a procedural mission system
it's closer to Elite Dangerous (as it stands) tha what star citizen is going to be.
i also question the physics involved in dogfighting
i'd try it but Planet Explorers beta on steam is probably a more fully featured "space game." minecraft mods only change the flavor of the game, they never actually add more content. just more stuff to build and no reason to do anything.
this mod could be fun, but it's not the first minecraft space mod and the others have been pretty weak. i'd play it, but i'm skeptical it's more fun than vanilla.
i'll try it out and do a proper review later
