Topic: r04r claims she can read human-unreadable CAPTCHAs in 5 seconds.
Anonymous A started this discussion 11 years ago#39,727
1) Get Tor
2) Go to scatchan.net
3) Click post a new thread.
4) For some reason it portscans you for 30 seconds. You have to wait around for this to be done.
5) Then you get this image.
I've been trying for hours to get past it with no luck. Just so you can't bullshit and claim you can get past it, I screencaptured both the CAPTCHAs and my answers for the last three. reCAPTCHA says these are wrong so what would the correct answers be for these three?

Are you mentally disabled or something? All of the captchas you listed can be solved within 5 seconds, maybe 10 because you obviously did your best to pick the most impossible ones, biased much? I attached the captcha I got. But whatever, let's assume you are mentally disabled. Anyway...
1. If you get port scanned while using Tor the exit node you are using will be port scanned. Not you. I am not sure how you could possibly come to this conclusion. If this is even true, it's not a port scan. It's just checking if you have port 80/8080/etc open, which is common for proxy hosts/hacked servers and utterly uncommon for consumer machines that should be behind a router/firewall. Not sure why you'd take issue with this.
2. All captchas I'm offered look far more readable than the ones you're getting, see attached image.
3. None of this is in any way related to cloudflare, which you've bitched about in the past. Just wanted to make that clear.
4. It is also unrelated to minichan since minichan uses the recaptcha v2, and only requires them for accounts holding <3 posts.
5. I hold zero sympathy for you because you are a Tor user. If you choose to use Tor you have chosen to throw away all your rights to a comfortable user experience.
tl;dr: All your issues are moot if you establish a single UID and collect posts on it. Since you do not do this the only conclusion I'm left to make is that you are a malicious user, so why would I care at all about your complaints?

That's for Google's v2 captcha, which the website specifically has to choose to use. Older sites are not automatically transitioned, so many sites do not yet use it. Also if Google decides you are suspicious for whatever reason it'll still captcha your ass.

With my dyslexia I often have to take a 2nd shot at captchas on sites so I do not pass the 5 second test - I figure it just comes with my dyslexia limitations - Once only I used the audio option offered and it was worst then the captcha nor are my ears connected to brain with dyslexia in the way.
I also test a hole bunch of new gizmos handed to me by Qualcomm which means I probably see MC captchas as often as u do nor is it really a pain. r04r recently commented she sees me with lots of UID's and that is Y.
OP I figure its my fault and its only a pain if I decide to stick with a test of new device cause then I cannot vote in polls re need for nuff posts -
You could jimmy with MC cookie n store a good cookie if you really wanted to find a way around not having a good cookie - that wood help perhaps - Once worked for me on a 4um - Cookies are fun to decode

1. Why use tor when there are easier ways?
2. Why would you want to go there in the first place? Are you retarded?

@528,931 (dw) > you just have to click 'i am not a bot' though
That's actually a lie by reCAPTCHA. Clicking that is stage one. Then it tries to open a popup window. If you have a secure browser, that popup will even open. I have to switch from Firefox to Safari to get it to open.
And plus that thing has a session which expires in 15 seconds so by the time you screencap it and get it ready, you have to do it again.
Anonymous F replied with this 11 years ago, 4 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^][v]#529,129

r04r replied with this 11 years ago, 2 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^][v]#529,130
@529,128 (R)
Lol, it only opens the popup when it suspects you may be a malicious user or a bot. I'm not sure what the drivel about a popup is, since it's a popin, opening in the current page, and having nothing to do with what you'd normally call popups. It also works just fine in firefox. The 15 seconds is also quite the exaggeration. It's more like 1-3 minutes, but maybe you are just slow and need that much time? :/
r04r double-posted this 11 years ago, 1 minute later, 15 hours after the original post[^][v]#529,131
@529,129 (F)
It was flawed from the start, Google would obviously filter out any bad words. And the malicious users are a fraction of the users that will answer legitimate, so they will be drowned out. That said, I'm fairly sure recaptcha changed their technique and that now both words are required.

No session expire time if you do that

Recaptcha v2 actually contains an expiration timer, which activates after verifying the captcha, and runs until you click submit. It's 1-3 minutes though, so I'm not sure why anyone would take that long to click submit.

A little, hence the google recaptcha v2 which in like 80% of the cases is just a button click with no captcha. That screenshot is not recaptcha though.
