I love Halo. And I was thinking; maybe I can't play Metroid because she is a woman. Whereas Master Chief became a mercernary due to his skill, I can't help but think Samus got hired because her employers wanted to be PC. I think she would have been better suited to the kitchen and let a man do the job in the Metroid games.

Metroid Prime is more about the exploration and puzzle-solving than it is about shooting stuff, like in Halo. I really liked the first Prime, the second wasn't as good though. Never finished the third, I couldn't get into it for some reason.
