For this fantastic twist on a common food combination, you will need the following ingredients:
-A bag of frozen broccoli*
-A bag of instant mashed potatoes*
-Some water
-Salt*
-Pepper*
*Optional
When it comes to choosing brands, feel free to skimp a little and go for the absolute cheapest you can find, and use tap water. I have tried many brands of frozen broccoli, instant mashed potatoes, and water, and I can say that in the end, it all tastes the same.
First things first, throw some of that fat, frozen broccoli into a microwave-save bowl. Then, fill it with water until 75% of the broccoli mass is submerged. Slap something on top of the bowl to keep it covered, and microwave it for six to eight minutes, depending on how soft you like your greens.
After this, put the broccoli somewhere besides the bowl it is currently in; we will be reusing this bowl. Pour out between 50% and 80% of the broccoli-flavored water, depending on how much you like the taste of the broccs. Now fill the bowl two thirds of the way with more water.
Microwave this green mixture for another two minutes or so. Just enough to get it a little steamy, but not boiling. Take the bowl out of the microwave and pour in your instant mashed potatoes. Whip them like a true chef with a fork. If the powder doesn't all become potato, add more water. If the potatoes are too runny/watery, add more instant potato powder.
Now add salt to your broccoli, and salt and pepper to your potatoes, and you've got yourself two five-star side dishes to complete any meal.

OK Let me have a go at this.
My first thought was if one only looks at the thumbnail one says to self were I live - Looks like a bowl of over processed Guacamole - Which still with thick taco chips makes for great eats.
Photo of Guacamole. Don't try this dish if its made from avocado's as found in Australia
