I doubt it. I totally believe life exists in huge numbers in outer space. Based on the laws of physics and no I am not a physicist but sure took a lot of Physic classes in school and I keep up with Physic technical journals cause I love the stuff and currently am concentrating on Quantum Physics and string theory - working hard as fuck to fully understand the math. Without that I will never be up to speed with the physics.
There is a most Infamous site in USA where Alien remains and the space ship is supposed to be housed. I worked on a project where we took Radar imaging photos of that location for 8-10 weeks on and off and when WE as a team found anything in photos that had objects that made no sense - We had full access to the area to lookC and figure out why the glitch. Covered the buildings and underground with small exceptions of closets as there was never a reason to open any closets.
And at another most Infamous location We as team were assigned a project to get the press to turn their cameras in another direction for a few minutes so that a Stealth thing could be accomplished.
We as team came up with something spectacular and it worked but so well it made all the papers as UFO. And We as team got in one hell of a lot of trouble for are prank. I still today see references on TV shows to the incident. Currently many people have set up events to fake a UFO. People WANT to See UFO's AND So do I
Just don't see such based on the issue of Physics and limitations re speed of light vs distance to travel.
Now in theory only - There are arguments re curved space as well as creating a black hole for fast travel which with Quantum physics could produce the apparent faster then speed of light travel
The experts on Black Holes shoot down that idea for a combo of reason.
However as a fan of Si Fi - One can dream
