No it isn't. It's rubbish. They're slow, take longer to get to the city centre and will cost more. It took me 20 minutes and cost me £3 to get a return before, now I have to pay £4.20 for a bus daysaver which takes almost an hour to get to the city. Trams won't be done until 2014, and I certainly won't be living here in 2014.

Do your tram drivers/bus drivers actually care about tickets? Or will they just give you a free ride if asked?

I haven't ridden a tram for almost 10 years, so I don't know. You buy a ticket from the driver when you get on the bus, or present him with your day ticket. They used to do returns which gave you two journeys but they stopped them in my area. Drivers are miserable. Sometimes they'll let you on if they don't have change, but there are always a few wankers who just won't let you get on the bus.

I love public transportation especially for cities
Where I live there are only busses and i still have to walk 2 km for them but oh well
