Topic: Has anyone ever walked their dog on a treadmill?

Anonymous A started this discussion 11 years ago #39,392

It's so fucking cold and icy, I am not taking the dog on a long walk outside. He has an area outside to run around in, but he is getting pent up because he doesn't get enough exercise. I'm thinking of trying to put him on the treadmill. Advise me, Minichan.

protip: if you get bitten, that's the dog's way of saying, "stop fucking with me human, and your contraption can fuck off too."

I speculate that a great many fat fucks have done such.

Careful with pitbulls. You might think that yours is sweet, but any dog can go off. A terrier leaves little punctures, but a pitbull will tear the fuckin' ass right out of you.

Only if you put the dog in a hot Wok.

No, but I did put a cat on a treadmill once. It was hilarious.

@OP

Dogs like to stop and sniff things on their walks. They also like to pee on ever scent of dog urine and eventually the excerise makes them move their bowels. Who knows if the dog will do these same habits in doors.

Not giving your dog excercise is animal cruelty. Dogs not excercised and ignored just sit in the back yard and bark nonstop all day and night.

I introduced him to the treadmill today. He was a little confused but he seems to get the idea. We only walked for like a minute so he didn't get overwhelmed.

Most dogs get their excercise by barking if you don't walk them. Occassionally they will run up to the fence at a pedestrian before barking, and that's their excercise. Walk them people!
