Because I do not really enjoy In 'N Out as much as everyone else does and actually would rather eat at Red Robin.
I love their Tavern burger and yes, this is one case that it does look like the picture.

Granite City Bedda Chedda Burger minus the cheese.

@OP
Lots of women find it difficult to eat giant burgers and still look lady like. I don't think you'll have that problem, I think you'll stuff your fat face full of sloppy greasy burgers in a very feminine way.

Why are you people so obsessed with crappy fast food chains? Why don't you eat real food?

The buns have a sixteen week shelf life and the meat patties must contain at least 30% meat products. The yellow slices are never actually called cheese for legal reasons.

They use the word constantly. It is cheese, but it's American style cheese. American cheese has its own legitimate cheese class. Look that shit up.

American cheese is disgusting. No true gastronome would think otherwise.

What really gets me is my grandma has been told for years that I like Swiss cheese with ham for sandwiches, but I don't think she's ever actually had Swiss cheese when we'd visit. She'd have a brand new package of white American. Either than or she wasn't expecting us and hadn't bought anything. I can understand if it just happened a few times, but I feel bad that I pretty much gave up on my grandma ever getting good cheese.

I'm not arguing its merit. I'm just saying it's cheese.

It is not cheese. It is "processed imitation cheese food."

But is it called that in the ingredients? I dont think that Mcdonalds uses that term.

It must legally be called that. McDonald's just lies about it, as they do with everything.

But you just said that they can't call it cheese.

They cannot, but they do: Ronald is a fucking liar.

It's really no different than Kraft American cheese you can buy in the store.
Also, yes, @OP you are definitely weird for preferring Red Robin over In N Out Burger. I know the feeling well. Once I told my friends I like Pepsi better and I thought Coke was overrated and they were "dude you're fucking weird get away from us you sick fuck!" and then they left me. Forever.

Uhh, doesn't Pepsi have an equal number of supporters as Coca Cola?
I've heard cases where people were called inferior for preferring Coke over Pepsi.
Not really a good analogy.

Yeah, too many friendships have been lost over the old Coke vs Pepsi debate. :-/

Of course. Once Ronald's clown dick got involved, it was inevitable.

you're not weird, op, in and out burger is a low tier fast food joint, and that's pretty low. they came to texas and i was skeptical from the beginning. a cali buger joint? what even is that? tofu on seaweed buns?
no, turns out it was just gross little hamburgers and unblanched soggy fries.
i don't know how they exist here when we have What-a-burger
