What kind of demon would put her in a water tank?

Any kind. They exist to cause misery. Also, it could have driver her to climb in by herself. What do you think happened?

I'm thinking that she might have been schizophrenic.

She definitely had Bi-Polar disorder. Do you think her elevator actions were the result of hallucinations? Also, what about the elevator door and its behavior, and her behavior in the hall? Do you think she was murdered? By whom?

Every serious report I've read on the case stated that she had a history of mental illness, although she was on medication at the time of her death. Her behavior in the elevator was most likely an attempt to figure out why it was malfunctioning (the instrumentation was apparently motion activated). The investigation eventually concluded that her death was a suicide, as there was no sign of violence (but at the same time noted that it would have been difficult for her to access the roof and access the water tank). I think I'll go with Occam's Razor on this one. The simplest explanation is most likely right.

I think that someone could have been fucking with her during this delusional episode and perhaps followed her to the roof.
