I tried. I typed an inquiry about getting onto the share. I got a nonsensicle response from Minnie and then I got kicked. Or something. I got violently logged out. I am so fucking sick of IRC because of shit like that. (someone kicking the new guy for fun, netsplits, bots doing bot shit, whatever..) IRC is a protocol that should die in a fire. It's had a nice life.

Oh, I just assumed most the regulars were on it. The original thread is here, and r04r can let you in on the secret if you want to try it out. If you're still on Ubuntu there are Debian packages and a PPA for it, so don't worry about it being a Windows/OSX only thing. It's working fine over here on Kubuntu Trusty. If you need a massive collection of Matt pics, a collection of Green pics, would like to relive some of Green's exciting YouTube moments, need some sweet Minichan wallpapers, random images, or would just like to share something like eBooks with someone on the board without having to go through some complicated routine, the Minichan btshare is a great solution.
