See those rounded corners around that thumbnail to the left? Do you hate them? Do you love them? Do you want The Board to get rid of them, or should they stay? Let your voice be heard!

They're fine.

I particularly enjoy the portrait ones, actually. Because then the rounded corners make the picture look like the iPod I am using to browse the board. It is wonderfully meta.

I do not like them, only because they cut off part of the image. They are nice, in terms of style, but they take away part of the intended image.

Hang on... Why not just make it an option in the dashboard, if people are divided over it? That would seem to be the most reasonable solution.

Because I'm not yet sure people are divided over them. Personally I'm impartial, and I've been approached by people saying they weren't a fan so figured I'd start a thread. Deleting a few lines is a lot easier than adding a toggle, so that's why I figured I'd ask first!

I think the rounded corners should be added to every rectangle shape on the fora. I think how it is now it looks kind of out of place.

They definitely don't bug me a lot, but I'm not a fan. The effect feels a bit web 2.0. One of the things I've always appreciated about these boards is their simplistic, minimalist styles.

I'll agree with that sentiment. I like the ATBBS type boards because they don't have all the excessive stuff that modern websites do.

This has been going on for quite some time. I think there are some real issues that need to be addressed here. What happens when you two don't agree? I'm okay with it, but it kind of jars with with the rest of the page elements being rectangular. I'd make it all have rounded corners, with an option for all rectangular (as a "Minichan Classic" option or something).

I hate the rounded corners. They remind me of twitter.
The very first thing I was thought in web design was about rounded corners:

Make it an option if you want, but have the normal corners by default.

By default images will no longer have rounded corners. If you are craving some of that web 2.0 style you can go to your dashboard and enable rounded corners, which will now round more than just the corners of images. Custom stylesheets can override this behavior, of course.
