Error Connecting (DNSBL blocked) or some shit. I tried using a bouncer (jbouncer), but I couldn't find any working proxies. It doesn't help that I have no experience with proxies and little experience with IRC, I've never really been banned from anywhere or had any reason to hide behind a proxy. I wanted to stop in and say Merry Christmas and such, but I guess I cannot. The life is misery.

The IRC we use is ran by Freenode, so first of all this does not mean this is any of our doing or under my control. Going around using random bouncers like that also does not really seem like a good idea. The DNSBL mention means that your IP address is listed within a blacklist, for whatever reason. This usually means that your IP address has been detected to be malicious in one way or another. I recommend checking http://www.dnsbl.info/ and checking the removal criteria.

Sounds promising. Thanks r04r! It seems some computer on this network has possibly been infected with "Online Gameover Zeus", not a lot I can do about that all I can do is hope it was a mistake and doesn't happen again.

Great, and yeah could be. Also could be it's a residential ip address that has been recycled, and it wasn't your home network that used it at the time of the detection.

weird shit goes down with the chan's in general, i cant post on tinychan, it says that i am banned but what in reality happened is someone happened to use my connection as a proxy, and THAT got banned, scatchan doesn't let me post at all (cookies failure even though i have cookies enabled) minichan is the only one that works for me at all

The fuck? The bouncer is authenticated and will only work for people whom I give an account. Additionally, if I wanted to contact someone privately on this forum then I would just PM them. I run this place and can do that, y'know.
