Who would want to be associated with this movement? This is a serious question. Are these the same butthurt losers who stalk successful people and their families over obscure internet BBSes?

I don't care. I prefer older video games and beer.

After reading up on these guys more, I have zero sympathy for them. All they are is a horde of reactionaries who are scared of feminism, and they use gaming journalism as an excuse to harass women who speak out against their sexism.
I hope that the media continues to humiliate them, and they remain ignored like the fringe lunatics that they are.

It's really not. They play lip service to it, but they mostly just give off anti-feminist vitriol.

Oh, and they're terrified of SJWs too. While I do have my concerns about the more zealous areas of social justice, the type of social justicers that the Gaters are afraid of are the reasonable kind who ask that people stop abusing minorities.

Even if she was, so what? Sluts and whores are an important part of the sexual exchanges of this world.
Bless our sluts.

Gamergate isn't a movement. It's the name of the scandal involving trading fuck for good game reviews. Aren't you familiar with the usage of the suffix -gate for naming scandals, ever since the Nixon Watergate debacle in the 1970s?

So what you're saying is, you never cared about this?

What's hilariously ironic about GamerGate is that there are actually a few women in it.
Yes, gaming culture has become so inclusive that even its anti-feminist, reactionary movement has women in it. It is, in some odd way, a sign of increasing equality.

Yep, it was originally full of disgruntled, left-libertarian feminists and feminist-friendly individuals until the discussions were forced onto /pol/.
