I do not live in China. I celebrate Chinese New years every year. Buddha's Birthday. The night before Lent (Mardi Gras)
I make sure to eat pork on any Jewish holidays. Christmas is on January 7 in the Gregorian calendar. One more fun time to celebrate with shots of Ouzo and racks of lamb
Ramadan so far not so much so but have been invited to the end of events because Qualcomm has a huge number o Rag heads who work for them
The more holidays the more better. A quick look at what others who are not Chinese but live in China - Long list of them getting together to celebrate Christmas

The best holidays are days/nites filled with celebration. Adding one more reason to celebrate is one more reason to party on.

Should add. I do not celebrate any holiday based on GEO location of day celebrated. The holidays I listed are celebrated by a huge number of people that live where I live.
