I decided to cook some pork liver tonight, with onions, red and green peppers, and maybe some spring onions. I wanted to do this the other night, but had no time. So, do you like liver? Please answer the poll below.

All animal products look gross when raw. It is delicious when cooked.

I am marinating the liver (after cutting it into bite-sized pieces, as Chinese cuisine mandates), in good quality soy sauce, aged vinegar, rice wine, and oyster sauce.

I don't like offal on it's own but added to other meat dishes and stews it's ok. I do like heart and tongue though.

I agree. I think beef liver is second only to foie gras liver.

foie gras is barbaric and you should feel bad for eating it

Myths. There are humane foie gras farms in France.

I once had a southern rice dish placed in front of me and liked it a lot before I was told that it was 50% chicken liver. Knowing it's liver shouldn't make a difference, but it does. If another southern bastard tricked me into eating it again I would probably enjoy it though. It's very flavorful.
