You don't need pants to live, but sometimes you might need a chicken to live.

Prioritise the chicken. Pants are a secondary objective.

Weirdly, I also thought of that.

Though I think it might take several chickens to make adequate pants.

I guess the chicken body itself could serve as pants (in the UKEnglish sense of the word) and the chicken skin could be saved and sewn into a small loincloth?
