It's a reverse proxy that sits between visitors and the webserver. Whenever a visitor types in minichan.org in their URL bar they will now get back cloudflare IP addresses, and not the IP addresss of the minichan server. So then all traffic goes through cloudflare, and cloudflare will be able to cache images etc, and thus reducing the bandwidth usage for our server. Additionally when someone attempts to ddos minichan.org cloudflare will absorb most of the attack, and not (easily) give the attackers the servers actual ip address.

That is only if you block their cookies afaik, they should store a cookie saying your connection is OK. In any case, minichan does not make any effort to accommodate for tor exit nodes or proxies.

@previous (r04r)Nope, it is a CAPTCHA to first access the site, then about every 30 seconds, I have to enter another one. Cookies aren't being cleared.

Then your setup must be fucked. I just tried with the TBB because what you said sounded like bullshit, and indeed I'm not getting that behavior. Just 1 captcha, and none after that. In any case, consider not using tor to visit minichan.

It depends on whether Cloudflare likes the Tor IP accessing the website. Restart Tor several times until you get the page.

whenever a website is knocked offline it automatically initiates a rollback to an archived version, cloud flare just archives websites
