I am quite aware of biological differences in gender, thank you. But it is wrong to make such broad stereotypes. The environment can be just as important, and biology's influence on behaviour is not uniform. Thus, it is wrong to generalise an entire gender so broadly. All humans get varying personalities, nobody can be defined by their gender.
And stereotyping women as "difficult" is a naive and foolish thing all on its own.

@previous (Killer Lettuce !!iNo3FkiZx) > And stereotyping women as "difficult" is a naive and foolish thing all on its own.
Quick story for you but first - Given I am a bit older then you and have been married and have also been in one hell of a lot of relationships with women for a lot longer then you have been on Planet Earth - When I make a statement like women can be difficult I do so from personal experience. The difficult however is much the same way I find Circuit design and other problem solving fun.
One thing is for sure - When I have moved on from one relationship to the next - No two women are anywhere near close to each other in personality traits - and those important buttons - For sure it takes some time to figure out what one needs to do to make it all work - and perhaps a Woman might say the same about Men?
So pardon me for saying Women are Difficult but for sure I am not about to back down on this just because it may not be PC
So a story - For periods of time work wise - I wood end up in charge of a large number of Electronic Assemblers. 99% or 99.99% are women. So sure I had supervisors below me to deal with the daily managment of those employees which ranged from 15 to several 1000 and always had an open door policy - Every now and then a Gal wood drop on in exasperated with all supervision and ask me for help
Cannot count the times I sat back and listened to her wows - Often to often I said to self - I bet this is hormonal and will go away in a few days. So then I wood make a date on calendar for the gal to return to my office and wood tell her I wanted to research issues she brought up - Only ONCE just Once did the gal come back with the problem unresolved a few days later.
I ended up firing several people as a result and she ended up in a supervisor position - So YES it was PMS - Until YOU are surrounded by enough women so that you see at least one case of PMS a day - Nuff said
Don't believe Men have PMS BUT for sure Ego's that create about the same kind of monster cept it does not go away after a few days

Okay, firstly, one person's anecdotes are not sufficient evidence to draw a conclusion about 50% of the world's population. The views of one man are hardly sufficient to make such a judgement.
But hey, if we're playing the anecdotes game, the pub/hotel I work at is run by a woman and mostly staffed by women. And it runs just fine, everybody is pretty levelheaded. Ergo, by your logic, women (like people in general, funnily enough) vary.
Just... Look, man. A woman isn't defined by her gender. Humans are so much more complex than that, yet we have to reduce people to labels like gender or race. It's idiotic.

Nor should I generalize to say all women have PMS - Many do and many can keep it out of work and then take it home to rage on mate or sister family etc
But I also think with all the current brain work in labs and studies on the very differences between men and women at least there are scientific answers for wot I have observed. With just one exception and I mean past my teen working years - All of my work for profit has been in Electronics which is dominated by male engineers/Techs/ and any design result ends up being manufactured by mostly robots and women. For a bunch of years I also for public service ended up as a registered lobbyist for an organization which had me wandering the halls of US Congress n Senate. Most of the people I interfaced back home were women. Only once work wise and it was just to see if my managerial skills could translate totally outside of Engineering - I took on a turnaround as an outside consultant to a company in the garment business. Large operation where the husband left he partner/wife who was really running the business EXCEPT his end was to handle the books/cash and he ran off with all the money and left her unable to even do the next payroll and in USA there are Fed n State Tax's that can get your company shut down quickly if not paid
That Garment biz was all women except for some reason all the cutters were a few men with women assisting.
Loooong work day is about to end in 15 minutes as I prepare for one hell of a few days of some very serious FUN FUN Surfing as conditions are supposed as of today to start to become AMAZING - Otherwise I had planned on leaving for a one week ski trip on Friday and GF's are all packed and miffed at me for holding back for Today Fri n Sat for the Surf and then leaving to ski
They Surf but not with the intensity I do. I may not do it at Champ level but for sure I put all my heart in2 my Ocean and it sure gives me back great Karma - I will ponder my judgement on complexity of women and see if I can find a way to please GF's cause frankly I want what I want when I want it and sure its selfish but on other things I am great at compromise.

Yes, as I said, aware of the biological forces at play. There's a part of the brain, sometimes referred to the sexually dimorphic nucleus, that plays a strong role in gender behaviour. This is scientific fact, and should never be denied.
But, on that same token, it's also wrong to see it all as wholly determined by biology. Indeed, it can lead to some disturbing problems in society if such a reductionist and geberalised view is applied, rather, that environmental aspects should be kept in mind too, and everyone treated as an individual.
Fuck, maybe I shouldn't have gone at you I over one small, relatively harmless comment. But then, it also spoke of a greater view on gender, one which probably needed questioning.

Cap key stuck? Calm down - Not derailed at all nor must you be aware of foundation of this Topic? Open your MC Bible to Genesis chapter X-1 Topic: Why does Becky hate Rolos "a lot"? http://minichan.org/topic/38607
Look at time it was posted vs time this topic was posted.
Now I fully expect an apology by the time I return from self imposed Ban I will be giving myself ok

Naw it was all good. Got me to review my attitudes a bit and given my GF's are a bit more then miffed at me for a delay on planned/promised ski trip and its NOT a gender issue cause if they did it to me I wood also be miffed. Women are just different which is just super an keeps life from being boring - We will have to ask Handle to give his point of view on what its like to be with the same Gender. Really wood take someone Bi with lots of multiple experiences on both sides of the isle to pontificate on this subject.
>it can lead to some disturbing problems in society if such a reductionist and geberalised view is applied
Man you should get some kinda Net Award for that line. Gold Star.
